AWANA: Ages 2 -18

AWANA is starting again on Sunday, Sept. 12th. AWANA is one of the fastest growing international youth organizations that provides a church sponsered program for boys and girls of all ages. The name AWANA means Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed. It is taken from the Bible, II Timothy 2:15: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth". Weekly club meetings at HCC are carefully organized according to age and school grades to provide maximum interest and activity for everyone. All clubs meet on Sunday with club ages and times as follows:

Puggles: Age 2...........................................5:30-7:00pm
Cubbies: Ages 3 & 4................................5:30-7:30pm
Sparks: Grades K-2nd..............................5:30-7:30pm
T & T: Grades 3rd-6th..............................5:30-7:30pm
Trek Handbook: Jr. High..........................4:30-5:30pm
Journey Handbook: High School.............7:00-7:30pm

GeNESIS: Junior High And High School

GeNESIS is a place for youth in Highland IL and the surrounding area. We meet every Sunday night in the basement of the church. Junior High youth (7th and 8th grade) meet from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and High School Youth follow, meeting from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
