Senior Pastor
Dr. Larry Wise
After serving for over 20 years as a youth pastor and senior pastor in Wisconson, Pastor Wise has been at Highland Community Church since June of 1998. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. His pulpit ministry emphasizes expository preaching. He leads a Sunday night Bible study, and a men's Bible study. He loves volleyball, golf, and blue jeans. He and his wife, Becky, have two children.
Administrative Assistant
Mary McWhorter
Mary is married to Hank, has 2 children, and is Nana to 5 grandchildren. She oversees the attendance and records of HCC, is editor of the Sunday Bulletin, and attends the normal office duties. She loves her job at the church and serving the Lord. Mary became a Christian in adulthood and is still learning and enjoying every bit of it.
Worship Team Director
Chris Woods
He serves Highland Community Church part-time. He is on the Music Faculty of Greenville College and holds a Doctorate in Trombone. He is married to Yvonne and has three children.
