Operation Christams Child
We are again participating in the shoebox ministry of "Operation Christmas Child". It's a heartbreaking reality that millions of children around the globe live in difficult circumstances and are in desperate need of hope and to know that they are loved. Operation Christmas Child is one way that you can make a difference in a young child's life. All you need to put a smile on a young one's face is a shoe box, and fill it with hygiene products (no liquids), small toys (nothing military or scary), books, hair clips, combs, etc. and you will be amazed to see how God can use a small gift-your gift- to touch a child's heart! Wrap your box (top & bottom seperately so that it can be opened), put a sticker with the age of the child on it, and enclose a check for$7, made payable to Samaritan's Purse, to cover shipping (all gifts are tax deductable to the full extent allowed by law). The stickers are located on the foyer table. You can also make your donation (via credit card on a secure site) and print labels online by using the following link. If you would like to participate, November 17-21 will be the collection week here at HCC. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
